Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated) during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for precise loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area and Florida highways
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Willingness to operate in varying weather conditions
