Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes during overnight shifts
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while maintaining accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong time-management skills for strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/holiday shifts
