Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional overnight routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and warehouse personnel
- Secure cargo and ensure proper loading/unloading procedures
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
