Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods to designated destinations in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to safety protocols and weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary paperwork.
- Navigate routes efficiently, including overnight driving, to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving cargo.
