Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
