Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) for strict compliance.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time management standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience driving night shifts is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
