Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on designated delivery routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Secure cargo and verify delivery documentation and receipts.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, FMCSA rules, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and logbooks.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining a professional image at customer sites.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong willingness to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
