Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely drive 18-wheelers and delivery trucks in adherence to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and Unload: Secure cargo properly using straps and chains, and perform accurate loading/unloading procedures at various distribution centers.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all required delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) immediately.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and endure long hours on the road.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
