Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to transport cargo safely and efficiently across the Dallas metroplex and beyond.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately while adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the preservation of cargo integrity throughout the transport process.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Class A or B).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends.
