Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight restrictions and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in commercial truck driving.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
