Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all federal and state traffic regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (10pm - 8am).
