Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods overnight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for all shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize route efficiency and on-time delivery
- Handle loading/unloading operations with precision and care
- Respond proactively to route changes and weather conditions
- Uphold strict safety standards and represent Swift Logistics professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be 21+ years old
