Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing to prevent damage.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or serious violations within the last 5 years.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
• Flexibility to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems.
