Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) on dedicated night routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery updates
- Secure and verify cargo during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and receivers
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience (recent)
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and climb trailer decks
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Southwest regional routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
