Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Safely load and unload cargo, verifying all delivery documentation and manifests.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Navigate Boston and surrounding areas efficiently, managing time zones and traffic delays effectively.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Complete required electronic logging device (ELD) logs accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Must be willing to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation purposes.
