Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) during overnight hours
- Load/unload cargo with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Navigate efficiently through Austin metro area using GPS systems
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams in real-time
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of over-the-road or regional trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area roadways
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
