Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on designated regional and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
