Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van and refrigerated) on overnight routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Respond to route changes and traffic conditions proactively
- Maintain clean driving record and safety certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible schedule availability (10-hour shifts)
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
