Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes across Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Secure cargo according to DOT regulations and company standards
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS compliance
- Represent Swift Transport with professional conduct at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (3+ years driving history)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Dallas-area highways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No preventable accidents in past 24 months
