Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for local deliveries within San Francisco Bay Area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate logbooks per DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using proper techniques
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse staff
- Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of San Francisco Bay Area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD)
