Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Load/unload freight with precision using power equipment and manual methods
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via ELD systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules while maintaining on-time performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and hazard reporting
- Uphold FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Flexibility for variable overnight schedules and occasional weekends
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and basic ELD technology
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Nashville metro area roadways and delivery zones
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
