Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight deliveries within Chicago metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage route optimization using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Familiarity with Chicago-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
