Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver products to customers on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure accurate delivery.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate logs and digital records of all deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle and delivery area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work nights (typically 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of local streets and geography in Wichita, KS.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required.
