Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and food orders within designated Virginia Beach routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital tracking systems
- Verify order accuracy and customer signatures upon delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to traffic laws and defensive driving practices in all weather conditions
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch team
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach roadways and GPS navigation
- Availability to work flexible night shifts (typically 8 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
