Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle daily to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with customers and handle package claims or issues with professionalism.
- Complete all required paperwork and digital delivery logs accurately and on time.
- Sort and organize packages according to route to ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld delivery devices.
- Customer service-oriented attitude and problem-solving skills.
