About the Role
As a Night Shift Delivery Driver, you are the face of San Francisco Express. You will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of packages to residential and commercial clients across the city. Your commitment to excellence ensures that our customers receive the best service possible, even after dark.
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and defensive manner, adhering to all traffic laws and San Francisco municipal regulations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Navigate complex city streets using GPS and route optimization tools to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain digital signatures upon successful drop-off.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers politely and resolving any delivery concerns professionally.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
- Proficient use of smartphone devices and delivery management apps.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
