Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses safely and on time during the night shift.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, ensuring packages are handled with care and answering any delivery inquiries.
- Route Planning: Use GPS and delivery software to optimize your route for maximum efficiency and fuel economy.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts and log mileage for all trips.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to operate our commercial vehicles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Smartphone Proficiency: Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation and digital proof of delivery apps.
- Reliability: A history of punctuality and a strong work ethic.
