Responsibilities
- Transport packages to designated delivery locations safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures upon completion.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery-related issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning packages and logging delivery data.
- Physically fit to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
