Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas during the night shift.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery addresses and ensure all items are in good condition before handing them over to the customer.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues or concerns on the spot.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and time management schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Utilize mobile applications for GPS navigation, delivery tracking, and digital proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to work independently during night shifts without direct supervision.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and loading/unloading vehicles manually.
- Reliable transportation to and from the designated depot.
