Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial customers in New Orleans.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance while representing the Crescent City Logistics brand.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or digital transactions with integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring every delivery is a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- A reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use our fleet) that is well-maintained.
- A smartphone with a data plan and GPS navigation capabilities.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
