Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages safely and efficiently using hand-trucks or dollies.
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (vans or box trucks) following all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate drop-offs, obtaining electronic signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle inquiries courteously.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately complete paperwork, including delivery logs and mileage reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Standard Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, specifically during the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
