Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses with a focus on safety and accuracy.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using dollies and hand trucks.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Log delivery information accurately into the handheld delivery management system.
- Handle package returns and process claims for damaged items.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure.
- Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and safety gear.
