Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses during designated night shifts.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling package handling with care and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Inspect delivery vehicle daily, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and mechanically sound before starting shifts.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition.
- Resolve delivery issues or customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
- Valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for using handheld scanners and logging delivery data.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and loading/unloading cargo.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the depot.
