Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently navigate Long Beach and the surrounding areas to deliver packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices for scanning, logging, and electronic proof of delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide top-tier customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and handling packages with care.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Sort and organize cargo during loading and unloading to ensure accuracy.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work night shifts, typically between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Access to a reliable smartphone for route management and communication.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use delivery apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
