Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated addresses in San Diego and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages accurately, checking for damage before and after transport.
- Update delivery status and resolve any delivery issues via the mobile app or handheld device.
- Provide excellent customer service, including signature requests and package placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
