Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations safely and within the specified time window.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience and handling any issues with a smile.
- Logistics Management: Verify delivery addresses, update tracking information in the system, and handle proof of delivery paperwork accurately.
- Load & Unload: Physically load and unload packages from the delivery truck, ensuring all items are accounted for and secured.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use mobile devices for navigation and app-based delivery.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability in a previous role.
