Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within the New York City area during night shifts.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures for all orders to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile apps to update the status of deliveries in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to our professional appearance and communication standards.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle in a timely and safe manner.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards to the fleet manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficient in using smartphone technology and handheld scanning devices.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate New York traffic efficiently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Proof of auto insurance and vehicle registration.
