Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Transport goods to designated locations in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring customer satisfaction even during late-night hours.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and road-ready.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional service by adhering to proper etiquette and handling packages with care.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and handheld devices to navigate efficiently and optimize delivery routes.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Driving Record: A clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact professionally with dispatch and customers.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
