Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks, or cargo vans) in a professional manner.
- Load and unload merchandise accurately, ensuring all items are secure for transit.
- Familiarize yourself with the assigned delivery routes and GPS navigation systems.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues on the spot.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness and mechanical issues, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Keep delivery logs and paperwork up to date.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) is required.
- A clean driving record with no recent major violations.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit with the stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery apps.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
