Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly, professional service while adhering to delivery protocols and handling returns as needed.
- Logistics Management: Use handheld devices to scan packages, update delivery status, and manage route efficiency.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload cargo from the delivery vehicle.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by company policy.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Class C Driver’s License.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and basic tech-savviness for GPS and tablet usage.
