Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses within the Colorado Springs area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests to guarantee accuracy and handle discrepancies professionally.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to company protocols.
- Manage cash or electronic payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders with 100% accuracy.
- Complete daily paperwork and digital logs in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; standard driver's license accepted.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills to meet strict delivery windows.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working independently and adhering to a set night-time schedule.
