Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure items are not damaged during transit.
- Navigate complex routes and manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines during the night shift.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers during drop-offs, handling any inquiries or issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information and managing digital logs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED.
