Responsibilities
- Safely operate Amazon-branded delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and business customers.
- Unload packages from the vehicle and place them at the customer's door, ensuring accuracy and care.
- Verify delivery addresses and interact professionally with customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow all traffic laws, traffic signals, and safety protocols to ensure a secure delivery environment.
- Update the delivery app in real-time to reflect package status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI convictions within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and possess the physical stamina to handle a demanding schedule.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for navigation and app updates.
