Responsibilities
- Safe Transport: Deliver goods to residential and commercial customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact positively with customers, ensuring packages are delivered correctly and with care.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and mileage reports.
- Load Handling: Safely load and unload cargo, adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, delivery, or transportation is preferred.
- Navigation: Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and mobile applications.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
