Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and electronic records using fleet management software
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Dallas/Fort Worth metro area geography
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during peak seasons
- Basic proficiency with GPS and fleet tracking systems
- DOT medical certification
