Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in the Baltimore metro area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and maintain professional customer interactions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to update delivery status and navigate optimal routes.
- Manage time effectively to meet strict delivery deadlines during the night shift.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to work a consistent Night Shift schedule (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of the Baltimore, MD area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use delivery software/apps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
