Your Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations in Austin and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care and properly secured.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
- Interact professionally with customers, including taking signatures and answering basic questions regarding deliveries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone technology.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business volume.
