Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in Albuquerque and the surrounding metro area efficiently and safely.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to scan packages and confirm successful deliveries.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, loaded correctly, and fueled at the start of every shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service during every interaction.
- Handle package exceptions and damage reports accurately and report them immediately to dispatch.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily delivery targets and route deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and proficiency with GPS apps and mapping software.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route planning and communication.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic paperwork.
