Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently during assigned night shifts.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload cargo in a safe and organized manner, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Customer Service: Verify delivery orders, obtain customer signatures, and handle any delivery inquiries professionally.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and daily inspection reports.
- Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Route Planning: Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time performance.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Schedule: Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving abilities, and navigation skills.
- Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent; ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
