Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during all operations
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in overnight environments
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic familiarity with Fort Worth metropolitan area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
